Open Year and set the date your internship began. The postings of the compulsory rotatory year are already listed with their lengths, so the whole twelve months lays itself out. Adjust any posting your college runs differently — the plan is yours, not a template you have to obey.

It has no tab of its own, deliberately. You start it from a block in your Week or from a logbook entry, and it then runs in the small timer at the top while you carry on. The home screen of this app is your plan, not a clock.

Today is what you are doing now and what is next. Week is the plan you can move around. Year is the whole internship: the postings, how far through you are, and what has to start before it can still finish on time.

It shows you where leave will and will not fit. Leave is not offered inside the very short postings, because a one- or two-week posting cannot absorb it. This is arithmetic on the dates you entered, not permission — your college grants leave, not this app.

Yes: Settings → Your data → Export my data, then Restore a backup on the other device. Do this deliberately, because a year of entries exists in one browser until you do.

Only if you lock it first. Settings → Your data → Lock backups with a passphrase scrambles the file, so whoever holds it cannot read it. Without that it is plain readable text — and it holds a year of your internship. If you forget the passphrase the file can never be opened again: there is no reset, because we hold nothing about you.

No. It is your own copy, to keep track and to make writing the real one easier. It is not connected to your college or to the NMC, and nothing in it is submitted anywhere.

It is a working title. No trademark or app-store check has been run on it yet, so it may change before any public release. Nothing you enter is affected if it does.
