TsugiHS

Privacy notice for the TsugiHS trial. Last updated 4 October 2026.

In short: TsugiHS keeps everything you enter on your own device. We don't collect it, see it or sell it. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.

Who we are

Data that stays on your device

Your internship plan, postings and dates, logbook entries, leave, study subjects, goals, notes and settings are stored only in the browser on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. The app includes a security setting that stops it from sending data to the internet.

This is not an official record. TsugiHS is your own working copy. It is not connected to your college, to the NMC or to any register, and nothing you enter here is submitted anywhere. Keep whatever your college requires in the form your college requires.

A year of records lives in one browser. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it, and so does losing the device. Your backup file is the only copy there will ever be — we hold nothing and cannot restore anything for you. Settings → Your data → Back up is worth doing from the first week, not the last.

You control this data: Settings → Your data lets you export a backup, restore it on another device, or delete everything. Clearing your browser's site data also deletes it.

Your data is not encrypted on your device: what protects it is your device's own lock, and nothing is transmitted for anyone to intercept. You can lock your backup file with a passphrase, which scrambles it so it is safe to keep in Google Drive or OneDrive. The passphrase never leaves your device and we never see it, so if you forget it the file cannot be opened by anyone, including us.

Data we do receive

If you email us (including Help → Send feedback, which opens your own email app): your email address, your message and anything you choose to include. We use it only to reply and to improve TsugiHS, and delete it within 12 months. Email to our addresses is forwarded by Cloudflare to our mailbox provider (Google).
When you open this website: it is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. We add no analytics and set no cookies. Cloudflare's own measurement script was switched off for this site on 4 October 2026, so the page no longer asks for it at all; before that it was present but blocked by the app's security policy and never measured or sent anything.

Notifications and installing

If you turn on session notifications or install TsugiHS on your home screen, the permission and the app files stay in your browser. Notifications are created on your device; we don't send them.

Your rights

You can ask us about, correct or delete anything you have sent us by email, and complain if you are unhappy: write to privacy@ilanbk.ai. We reply within 30 days. In India you may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Who TsugiHS is for

TsugiHS is for adults aged 18 and over. It is a planning and record-keeping tool for your own use. It gives no clinical, medical or career advice, and nothing in it should be relied on in the care of a patient. Where it counts weeks, leave or revision dates it is doing arithmetic on what you typed — check it against your own college's rules, which are the ones that bind you.
